Michael Mebruer
Michael Mebruer is a Republican candidate for Congress in Louisiana’s 5th District. An LSU graduate in economics and currently completing a Master’s in Financial Economics, he has also worked as a traveling medical professional, serving communities across the country and gaining firsthand insight into how federal policy affects real people. He is running because Washington’s spending and debt are placing the country on an unsustainable path.
Michael believes trillion-dollar deficits cannot be solved with small cuts or political slogans. Real reform requires confronting the largest drivers of federal spending and restoring fiscal discipline. His campaign is focused on serious, practical solutions that strengthen the economy, protect future generations, and return common sense to Washington.
Self Funded Campaign
This campaign is self-funded. Michael Mebruer is not accepting donations and is financing the campaign personally. This allows the campaign to remain focused entirely on the issues and the people of Louisiana’s 5th District, rather than special interests or political donors.
